-Keynote Address, It’s Not Them, It’s You: Owning our Responsibility for Leadership in Vet Med, presented by Rob Best

Introduce & explore the science of reading and influencing human behavior with the purpose of becoming more aware and intentional with their own leadership & stage presence. 

-Financial Planning for Business Owners, with Luke Strode

This presentation is designed to provide business owners, and those who work with them, with tailored financial strategies to assist with both business and personal success.

-Drug Diversion, with Dr. Lauren Forsythe

This session will cover the why, what, and how of controlled substance security across all roles in and supporting veterinary practices. Drug diversion statistics will be covered to show what is driving the need for controlled substance security followed by a review of the core components of DEA requirements. 

-Improving Client Experience, with Robin Brogdon

While this session was designed for veterinary practices, it applies to all businesses that have clients. The devil is in the details – so, yes, sweat the small stuff.It’s really not that hard to achieve, at least it seems that way. But like anything of importance, it requires purpose, intention, training, and consistency.

-The Sales Process: Start to Finish, with Roger Redman, DVM

Attendees will come away with a clear understanding how to prepare a veterinary practice for a sale and the entire sale process, from start to finish. Items of importance will be the financials and normalization process to create a sound defensible EBITDA, facility constraints that may affect the valuation, associate DVM status, and goals of the seller. Will also share the items to consider when choosing to use a practice broker/ advisor versus a DIY sale.

Reservation details:

· Rates are exclusive of taxes and fees

· All reservations will be charged a first night room deposit on credit card provided

· A $35 Destination fee plus tax/per room/per day will apply to guest rooms

· A valid conference registration is needed to reserve a room at the attendee rate in the conference block

· Complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms for Marriott Bonvoy members

· Based on availability group rates may be available two (3) days pre-event or two (3) days post-event

· An early departure fee equal to one night plus tax may apply if hotel isn’t notified during check-in

· Rooms may be cancelled at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to confirmed arrival date with a refund

· No Shows and Cancellations less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival date will be charged a penalty of one night’s room and tax to the credit card provided.

· A 20% discount is available at Hibiscus Spa

Meeting registrants agree to notify VetPartners as soon as possible if circumstances change and they are unable to attend.

More than 14 days prior to the meeting: registration fee is refundable minus a $25 administrative fee.

Less than 14 days prior to the meeting: registrations fees are non-refundable
